ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN: CHINESE CHECKERS

Last Wednesday my mom said to me, Do you have twenty minutes? I asked what she was up to, and she explained that she wanted to play a game or two of Chinese Checkers. My answer was of course, yes. I won the first game and she the second….hence the appalled face in the last photo. I have a habit of knocking her marbles off the board when she’s about to win. This probably sounds bad, but trust me it leads to loads of laughs. It’s fun to stop what you’re doing every now and again for a simple break. Thanks for the game, Mom!
I’ve never played chinese checkers… well, the way you are supposed to play chinese checkers anyway. My brother and I used to throw the marbles at one another and arrange them on the board in pretty patterns, haha!
Taught a group of 5th graders yesterday to play! This is one of my favorite games!!
Wow! This brings back memories of playing that game with a group of my really close friends… man. Good times. Although, I never did that great at the game.

Nice photos. That looks like a really beautiful Chinese Checkers board. It’s one of my favorite games but I don’t own a board right now believe it or not- I only play Online Checkers and online Chinese Checkers.
